octubre 27, 2022 - diciembre 31, 2023
The acclimatization program is designed to educate and instruct people in high altitude mountain climbing between 4,000 and 6,000 meters in Ecuador, South America. Our mountain base will be in Quito, nestled in the Avenue of the Volcanoes, and a perfect location because of its altitude (2,800m/10,498feet) and proximity to the volcanoes. With the assistance of a qualified and bilingual guide, this program acclimatizes and increases the fitness of climbers, making it possible to successfully climb some of the highest volcanoes in South America. Over the course of these four days, you will reach the summit of some of Ecuador’s most famous volcanoes, the Illinizas North and the mighty Cotopaxi, which is the highest active volcano in the world! These climbs offer spectacular and unsurpassed views of Ecuador and the Avenue of Volcanoes. Specially designed, this program enables people with little or no experience to gain the ability and skills necessary for climbing some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. We visit Antisana is a stratovolcano of the northern Andes, in Ecuador. It is the fourth highest volcano in Ecuador, at 5,753 metres (18,875 ft), and is located 50 kilometres (31 mi) SE of the capital city of Quito.
